Singapore functions as the network crossroads of Asia. Submarine cable systems from every direction, including the SEA-ME-WE, APG, and SJC routes, terminate on the island, making it the point where traffic between South East Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and Oceania converges. ServerPoint operates from Equinix SG3 on Ayer Rajah Crescent, directly connected to this cable infrastructure.

Our SGIX peering arrangement means that traffic destined for local ISPs in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia takes a direct path rather than routing through an international transit provider in Tokyo or Los Angeles. For Linux and Windows virtual servers serving South East Asian audiences, this produces noticeably faster page loads and more consistent API response times.

Singapore is also ServerPoint's second location (alongside Las Vegas) to offer all three processor families: Intel Xeon E5, high-frequency Xeon Gold, and AMD EPYC Milan. All storage runs on our Ceph distributed SSD platform. We own every server, switch, and router in our Equinix SG3 cabinets.
